Academic Support Hour

YCIS will be offering academic support. It will be held every Wednesday in the library from 1:55-2:55. Staff will be available to support students in this structured study environment. This time is intended to support students who want extra help or just need a quiet place to work. Students who wish to participate will need this permission slip filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. Student athletes who do not meet academic eligibility requirements may be required to attend.

Transportation will be provided to deliver kids to three designated stops: 3rd & Elm in Yamhill, The Depot in Carlton and YCES in Carlton. Please make arrangements to get your children home from these locations. The shuttle bus will stage at 2:55 and depart YCIS at 3:00. Students may also walk home or be picked up from YCIS.

State testing information; House Bill 2655 permits parents to annually opt-out of Oregon’s statewide summative tests in English, Language Arts and Math by submitting this form to the school your student attends.
